DAVID BARRETT WINS EMMY FOR "THE MAGIC NEVER ENDS" Honestly, I rarely attend events such as these. So
when I do, I feel a bit like a stranger in a strange land. I don't
fault the grandness of the proceedings...I just feel a bit silly
while in the midst of them. Having said that, of course it is wonderful
to walk up the podium and be recognized for this music. While I'm
quite sure that absolutely no one knew who I was, it sure was sweet
to stand there. Most importantly, my mom gets to brag to her friends
(and anyone who will listen) that "her son won an Emmy".
